That funny lump thing at the front is the wheel well. I think the driver sits on top of the other front one.
The engine is under the raised section at the back. Putting it there is how they got the front half so nice and low.
And yeah, the seating layout could be better. That leg room thing drives me crazy. And the ‘it’s now fine to push/touch this funny door opening device’ light. Have you noticed there’s a light? It’s right on top of the door where only 7 foot giants will notice it — although they’ll probably be looking at the handles like everyone else.
